Join CAV in Making a Difference

 Dear CAV Supporter, 

In my first communication as CAV's President of the Board of Directors, I wanted to reach out to you all with our deepest gratitude and to provide an update.

First, please accept my heartfelt thanks for your continued support of CAV.  Our important work to end domestic violence and ensure safety for families and children in our community relies on your support.  Your support makes a meaningful difference in the lives of many in the Eastern Panhandle.  We cannot do our work without you.  

Over the course of 2026 there will be some changes at CAV.  Our Executive Director, Jo Elliott, will be stepping back from that position this year.  She will be working with CAV as we search for a new Executive Director and transition the successful applicant into the role.  The Board of Directors, Jo, CAV employees and facilitators are committed to a seamless and successful transition with no disruption in the services to our participants and to our community.   

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to Jo for her dedication to CAV and to our community during her tenure as Executive Director. She will be missed.
